About Jubilee
Jubilee has an apt name because she has so much to celebrate, and she has so much fun doing it. Changing her appearance is one of Jubilee’s favorite things to do. “I love to do makeup and fashion,” she says. Adds one of Jubilee’s close adults, “She enjoys self-expression through her physical appearance.” Her self-expression extends to other favorite activities such as gymnastics, horseback riding and singing and dancing. Jubilee wants to take dance lessons and become a ballerina when she gets older. She enjoys playing card games such as Go Fish and Uno, and she likes being around animals, especially bunnies and cats, her favorite critters. Jubilee’s favorite food is Bosco Sticks, her favorite candy is Smarties and her favorite color is pink. Her favorite subject in school is history, but she does well in math. On the weekends when it’s warm, Jubilee likes swimming, and after school, she enjoys watching television. If she could travel anywhere, she’d go to Australia to visit a sibling who’s stationed there. That’s among her biggest wishes – to visit a sibling who’s in the military – and “to have lots of makeup.” When she’s asked what she wants to do with a forever family, Jubilee sticks to her idea of having fun. “I hope we go camping because I have never been,” says Jubilee. “I would like to try new experiences, have movie nights together and eat dinner together.”
“Jubilee is a bubbly girl who loves to help others,” says one of her close adults. “She’s outgoing, kindhearted, helpful and sweet. Jubilee likes to be a happy person who frequently wears a smile on her face. More often than not, she offers to help clean up the messes we create. Jubilee is fun to be around is willing to try new activities and experiences. She is quick-witted, loving, energetic and charismatic.”
Jubilee would do best with two experienced parents who are trauma informed. Her new forever family must be fierce advocates for the services she needs. Her new family also should be open to letting Jubilee maintain her sibling relationships. She needs a family who’s patient and understanding and who can provide a calm living environment. Finally, Jubilee loves cats, dogs and bunnies and hopes for a family who has pets.
