About Simeon
From Michigan Stadium to Ford Field and elsewhere, the echoes of Simeon’s name fill the stadium with his achievements on the football field. “Touchdown Simeon!” as the crowd shouts, “Simeon, Simeon, Simeon!” As well they should. This athletic young man takes pride in his football skills. “Simeon has reported that he is good at playing football,” says one of his close adults. “He wants to become a famous football player when he is older.” When he’s not being a hero on the field, he’s taking an interest in superheroes off it. Simeon loves playing with superhero action figures. If he had a superpower of his own, it’d likely be his faith. “Simeon believes in strong faith and says he is ‘a child of God,’” says one of his close adults. Simeon also enjoys watching movies and reading books. “His favorite type of book is graphic novels such as the Dog Man series,” says one of Simeon’s close adults. “He also participates in band by playing the trumpet.” Because of his faith, Simeon prefers a forever who is open to discussing religious beliefs with him.
“Simeon is thoughtful and has a good sense of humor,” says one of his close adults. “He likes to be included in conversations with adults and asks questions. He values other's opinions and often puts others before himself.”
Simeon will need an adoptive family who is understanding and patient with his transition into their home. He would do best with a single female parent or a mom and dad who are experienced and trauma informed. Simeon’s new forever family must be strong advocates for any services he needs. Simeon would do best as the youngest child in the home.
