About Zackary
Zack wants to hit the road in the future to become a truck driver. And Zack's biggest road trip will include traveling to Tennessee, going to Bronner’s Christmas Wonderland and visiting The Wizarding World of Harry Potter. The trip to Tennessee would take Zack back to a time when he lived there. If he could travel back in time, Zack would participate in karate, which he’s done in the past, and when he returns to the present, he’d want to give boxing a try. In the future, he wants to visit Bronner’s to shop and look around in the store and Harry Potter world because “I like having fun.” Indeed he does! Zack should reconsider that truck driver job and instead become a party planner, especially for his three favorite holidays: Christmas, Valentine’s Day and Halloween. He says he likes celebrating those holidays by making ginger bread houses and other desserts, having family and friends visit, exchanging gifts, going shopping, doing fun activities and staying up and watching TV. A plate of Zack’s favorite food – spaghetti – would make the occasion even more memorable. Zack also would love making arts and crafts during the celebration. In fact, Zack has plenty of fun activities in mind for his future forever family, and if they could stay home and play video games, then Zack won’t be hitting the road anytime soon. Then again, he’d like to travel with his new family, perhaps to Tennessee.
“Zack is very outgoing and personable,” says one his close adults. “He enjoys talking and sharing his story with others. He is very friendly, creative and enjoys spending quality time with his friends and family. Zack is very kind-hearted and wants to please. He wants to be helpful and responds strongly to positive reinforcement and praise. Zack is a sweet and funny kid who is great with younger kids and animals."
A forever family for Zack must be strong advocates for any services he will need to thrive. His new parent or parents must be able to provide structure and routine. A patient and experienced parent or parents who can help motivate and encourage Zack would be best for him. Zack loves animals and prefers a family who has pets. Finally, his new family must be open to letting Zack maintain his sibling relationships.
