About Jason
Meet Jason! He describes his well-rounded personality as “yin-yang” because sometimes he’s light, colorful, happy, and bright, while other times he’s quiet, passive, and indifferent. Jason has a strong connection to the woods and feels a forest is unique and can provide peace, joy, and time to reflect. He has a lot of respect for nature.
Jason is intrigued by non-traditional magic and the supernatural side of life. He would love to do a tarot card reading for you! He enjoys doing that and would love to teach you about it! Jason has recently become interested in robots and would love to learn more about how they work and build one of his own! Jason also enjoys drawing and completing arts and crafts activities in his free time. Jason hopes his work can one day become creating tattoos on people. He would love to learn to sew and make clothing.
Jason listens to all kinds of music, but he would describe himself as a metalhead. He’s also really into horror movies, the color black, and Halloween… BOO! One of his newest favorite activities is learning about survival techniques and how to escape different terrains. He loves making people laugh and is always ready with a good pun! This summer, he plans to look for a part-time job and has been working on his independent living skills.
He does alright in school and especially enjoys math and life skills classes. He has several school friends and staff that he feels supported by.
Jason’s ideal home is one where there are many family activities. While he’s independent, he also longs for a strong family dynamic. He’d like to spend lots of time with his future family, as a family is very important to him. Having a family to eat dinner with is something he desperately wants. He’d enjoy an outdoorsy and artsy family, just like him, but who can also be content enjoying downtime at home. Jason really want to share his pastimes with his forever family! He loves animals (especially cats!), but thinks dogs are cool, too. It’s important for families to know that he is gender fluid and prefers he/him/his and they/them pronouns.
Due to Jason’s age, termination of parental rights is not required for adoption to occur.
