About Mashone
Mashone can’t wait to meet her new forever family, and they likely will be just as eager to meet her. “Mashone is a bright light in the world, and her personality and joy shine through in all that she does,” says one of the adults close to her. “When Mashone finds her forever family, she will love them unconditionally.” Her new family is certain to love her back because she has a good sense of humor and enjoys sharing it with others. She hopes to share plenty of other things with her new family such as playing games and eating dinners together. Mashone’s other favorite things to do include roller skating, dancing and dining at restaurants, where she hopes her favorite food – mac ’n cheese – is on the menu. Some of her other favorite things are black for color, cats for animal and math for subject in school. After school, her favorite thing to do is playing or talking with friends. Mashone’s future is important to her, and she dreams of visiting Antarctica because “I want to see the penguins. When she gets older, Mashone wants to become a veterinarian. If she had three wishes, Mashone would want “to go on a rollercoaster, to go to outer space and to meet a dinosaur.” In addition to playing games and eating dinners with her new family, Mashone looks forward to going on vacations and spending time in the outdoors together.
“Mashone is a very cheerful child who brings sunshine into every room that she walks into,” says one of her close adults. “Mashone is very happy and really enjoys being silly and having fun. Mashone is a child who gets along well with other children and people in general. She is very outgoing and bubbly.”
Mashone needs two experienced parents who are trauma informed. Mashone can be placed with a forever family with or without other children. Her new family needs to be patient and supportive as Mashone transitions into her new home. Since she loves animals, a family with pets would be bonus for Mashone, who loves dogs and cats.
