About Jorden
His nickname is JoJo, but Jorden could be called GoGo because he’s active and athletic. He does well in sports and says basketball is his favorite. He also likes football and riding bikes. Even though he loves sports and enjoys being in the present, Jorden’s future is more important to him. “Strategizing and forward-thinking seem to be what Jordan enjoys the most,” says one of his close adults. His future appears to include college so Jorden can pursue his dream of becoming a car tester or engineer. Even though he often thinks about his future, Jorden still likes the typical things that others his age enjoy such as playing video games, reading comic books, watching TV and sleeping in on weekends. If he could summon the power of Aladdin’s lamp, Jorden would wish to be really good at sports. He dreams of traveling to Disneyland so he can enjoy the rides. On his list of favorite things, Jorden includes burgers, pancakes, waffles and omelets for food; blue, grey, red, black and white for color; and dogs and parrots for animal. Jorden says he’d love to have a forever family who enjoys traveling, playing board games, having movie nights and going on bike rides.
“I like to spend time with Jorden because of his natural ability to engage in conversation and the caring and compassion he is capable of feeling for the other people in his life,” says one of his close adults. “I look forward to hearing about the exciting, adventurous and meaningful things that he will do in his life. Jorden is a very intelligent and intuitive youth who enjoys working on home DIY projects, and he especially likes any type of demolition. He seems to really enjoy the feeling of completing a project and/or reaching a goal.”
A forever family for Jorden should be willing to maintain contact with his siblings. He would do best with a female parent or parents who are patient and experienced and who can make sure he gets the one-on-one attention he requires. His new parents must make sure he receives the services that will help him function at his best. Jorden also would do best as the only child in his new family.
