About Jordan
Jordan (August, 2008) is a teenage boy who has never met a stranger. Jordan is often described as an “old soul” with a great sense of humor. Jordan’s interests in electronics is easily visible and he will talk at length about AM radio, computers, video games, phones etc.
Jordan has recently shown remarkable resilience in spite of dealing with several setbacks and let downs. He is working daily on forgiveness and letting go and moving on. He is becoming more physically active and uses walks as a way to clear his mind.
As mentioned earlier Jordan is very much an “old soul.” He easily communicates with adults and is an excellent conversationalist. He also relates well to peers, both younger and older, over his love of video games, bike riding and electronics in general.
Jordan continues to work on coping skills and responding, not reacting to setbacks. Jordan does struggle at times when given bad news, as we all do. However he has not let that keep him from continuing to work on appropriate responses to negative situations.
Jordan loves classic rock. He enjoys listening to The Cars and Journey on cassette tape in his tape player. He loves going out to eat and will often eat dessert first. He also loves to explore new places on foot.
Overall, Jordan is a delightful young man who continues to grow, mature and develop in spite of his circumstances. His intellect, kindness and sense of humor make him a loving member of any family.
Let's support Jordan during his journey of maturity, growth, and forgiveness. Encourage his unique interests and celebrate his many successes. By doing this, we can help Jordan become the man he deserves to be.
