About Mickee

Mickee is a lively, fun-loving kid with an infectious smile. He’s a hugger at heart, always ready to share his affection with loved ones. One of Mickee’s favorite activities is dancing—he lights up while learning and recreating the moves from the video game Just Dance, singing along with the songs as he grooves.

A true people person, Mickee enjoys sharing his toys and books with friends and curling up on the couch to watch cartoons. He also loves getting outdoors to play, whether it’s shooting hoops on the basketball court or splashing around in the pool.

The holiday season is especially exciting for Mickee. He looks forward to decorating for Christmas, helping with holiday baking, and making trips to see Santa. His birthday is another highlight of the year—he adores celebrating and, of course, unwrapping presents!

Mickee thrives in structured and consistent environments, both at home and at school. With the right support from teachers, his vocabulary has grown significantly, and he continues to make great progress. On tough days, Mickee relies on a toolbox of strategies that help him navigate challenges and stay on track.

An experienced adoptive family who can provide Mickee with lots of support, encouragement, and supervision will be the best fit for him. The ideal adoptive family will have lots of specialized experience in parenting and will have connections to local community resources.
