What is a Home Study?
A home study is a written document your caseworker completes about your family and includes basic information drawn from interviews with your family and information provided by third parties. It is usually written after your pre-service training classes and application to foster or adopt.
If you have a home study, be sure to verify with your adoption worker if your homestudy approves you for adoption from foster care.
If you do not have a home study, find out more about starting the process to adopt.
