Publication Policy

We are proud and happy to share with you that the Answering the Call publication series by The Collaboration to AdoptUsKids has been very popular across the nation. That’s the good news. The bad news is that, due to the high cost of producing and mailing these publications, it has become necessary for us to institute a publication policy that limits the number of hard copies of each book that we are able to send you. All Answering the Call publications can still be downloaded for free and printed from the pdf files provided. The policy for printed publications, as follows, is effective immediately.

• Public agencies may receive 1 hard copy of each of our Answering the Call publications and DVDs per year.
• Public and Private Agencies may receive unlimited CD-ROMs of our publications and/or download them from our website. AdoptUsKids gives our permission to make copies in a print center.
• If you would like to purchase more copies, you may do so by simply filling out the order form and we will bill you with your order. Each book is $20.00 per copy to cover the cost of printing and shipping.
• Public agencies can also obtain additional hard copies when they request training and technical assistance at the National Resource Center for Recruitment and Retention of Foster and Adoptive Parents at AdoptUsKids.
• English and Spanish Family Pocket Guides will continue to be free up to 50 per year and $0.80 after for all requestors.
