About the Siblings
Arneiza and Arn are African American siblings who love each other very much. They are legally freed for adoption and need to be placed together. The siblings are currently living in separate foster homes, but they see each other regularly and hope to grow up together soon. They have a very strong bond, which is evident in their visits where there enjoy being goofy, playing games, and being active.
Arneiza is a friendly and likable 10 year old, who responds well to structure, routine, and consistency. She is a smart young girl who does well in school with the support of an educational plan. Arneiza is a sensitive young girl with low self-esteem who aims to please others due to her trauma history. Arneiza enjoys being social and participating in group activities. She is very active on a color guard squad and enjoys swimming and bowling. Arneiza has also started off a Red Sox game with the “Play Ball” call.
Arn is a charismatic and active 8 year old boy. He enjoys being the center of attention and knows how to make others laugh. Arn is very intelligent and does well in school with the support of a 504 plan. Arn does best with one-on-one attention because of his hyperactive and impulsive behavior; he is described as a boy with very little fear. He is very active and athletic and enjoys karate, swimming, playing video games, watching movies, and reading the Sunday paper.
These playful and loving siblings would do well in a family of any constellation with or without other children. They need a loving, structured and nurturing family that will support their therapeutic and behavioral needs.
