English Narrative: Michael is a soft-spoken, thoughtful, athletic, and artistically inclined young man. He describes himself as “quiet”, “serious”, heroic” and “funny”, and he shared that he likes relaxing by watching movies, as well as playing sports, especially Track and Football. Michael also shared that he is best at, and really enjoys, acting, “because it brings out my energy, and my smile”. Currently, he is looking forward to finishing his school year and taking part in the theater camp he is registered for this summer, which will culminate in him acting in their presentation of Fiddler on the Roof. Michael loves to eat Spanish food and he enjoys learning to speak Spanish in school, saying that “it fills (his) soul with joy”. He shared that if he had a superhero ability, it would be “to be able to read the future, so that (he) could stop bad things from happening and stop kids from going through what I’m going through”.Michael is hoping to be adopted by a loving family. He has expressed that he is open to any type of family, in terms of parent structure, children or pets in the home, or any ethnic background. While he shares that he loves pets, and dogs in particular, he is not crazy about “big dogs that are unfriendly”. Michael shared that he would also like his adoptive family to support his desire to maintain contact and connection with his birth siblings on some level. |
