As many young preteens, her age, Kaliyah enjoys keeping up her appearance including her hair and clothes. She loves to laugh and enjoys making others laugh with her. Kaliyah is a natural born leader who is able to express herself and provide others with direction and guidance. The forever family for Kaliyah should have an established solid, united approach to parenting that includes effective communication and active listening skills. Kaliyah’s family will need to provide clear and distinct boundaries. Her forever family should be able to provide discipline and structure yet understand when to be flexible. Kaliyah has some strong familial ties, which her forever family will need to accept and support. The ideal family will be committed and will be able to meet Kaliyah where she is emotionally.
